When the tenders dry up...

So, while I was watching the SABC clip of the looters in Sasolburg, it occurred to me that the reason for this chaos is staring us all in the face.

I don't even know which municipality is governing the town I live in. And to be honest, I don't really give a monkey's. Whoever is running the town is probably corrupt and incompetent anyway if they are part of the ANC. And they've given all the local municipalities unpronounceable names that change every four days.

So, if you're living in a township and you're hanging around waiting for your next ANC handout courtesy of the white tax payer, how would you know that your municipality is going to merge with some other town's? Why would you care? Chances are that the local government in your area doesn't do diddly squat for you anyway. You might say something along the lines of: "These idiots wouldn't be able to organize a piss-up in a brewery..." - and move on, continuing with your daily chores.

But no, not in the Rambo Nation. Here, we run to the streets in mobs and torch everything in sight. We throw stones at the police, rob the liquor store and loot the local hardware store.

People, it's staring us in the face.

Whoever was getting the TENDA's, ain't gonna get the TENDA's no more. And they are the ones who instigate the chaos. The cannon fodder may take a few rubber bullets in the process, but who gives a flying...

I thought I'd add a bit of music to this video. It was so inspiring...
